The Armoury exclusive Springwater boot is built on Alden’s Van last. Part of our Dayware footwear range we’ve based this boot on Alden’s now discontinued Michigan boot. We’ve kept the handsewn moccasin toe stitching, but switched out the eyelets to brass and added speed hooks to dress it down a bit. To make this boot even more comfortable, we’ve used Horween’s Utica leather, which is a super soft and pliable tumbled cow (not calf) leather. We used Alden’s crepe sole with leather toe tip from their All Weather Walker blucher to make this a rugged, wear-it-with-anything boot to throw on during the weekend when you’re heading to the bar--like Springwater, the boot’s namesake and oldest bar in Tennessee.
