Trunk shows have always been a special part of The Armoury because they give us a chance to personally introduce our customers to artisans we admire. We ultimately believe that commissioning clothing and building a wardrobe is about human connection; however, the COVID pandemic has pushed us to explore safe new ways to connect our customers with artisans abroad. Thankfully, we have extensive made-to-measure experience at The Armoury, so vendors are confident in our skills for measuring and fitting under their video supervision.
Our sales teams have spent the past few months training with our artisans on their fitting processes and how to best relay fit information over Zoom. We've added enhanced lighting, a multi-camera system, high-quality microphones and video to both our Hong Kong, Tribeca and Upper East Side shops. Check out the video below to see Mark and Alan take us through a virtual fitting.
Our friends at Robb Report joined us for the first few virtual trunk shows in New York.
SEE MOREWe're excited to welcome you back to our New York shops, with new safety precautions in place.
Clients who have existing bespoke or made-to-measure patterns on-file with an artisan are invited to join multi-way Zoom calls with the maker and our staff to commission new pieces from their own homes.
