Japanese Bespoke Tailoring
Yamamoto-san of Tailor Caid is truly an interesting man. A die-hard proponent of mid-century style, when you walk into his atelier in Shibuya, you’re literally transported back to the 1950′s. Old Esquire’s & GQ’s, a record player with period specific speakers, a typewriter (which he uses), and binders full of screenshots from 50′s movies all adorn the space.
Tailor Caid is known for impeccable details. With 1930s-inspired suit styles to an overcoat based on a box coat from the 50s, Yamamoto-san’s creations for Tailor Caid are truly masterful.
