We don't think you should have to sacrifice quality and comfort just because of a little bad weather. Here are our recommended rainy day shoes from some of our favorite makers.

“It seems that especially in NYC, guys still have to wear tailoring to work but don’t know what shoes to pick for the rain or snow. We’ve put together a selection of our favorite shoes for foul weather that can be paired with anything from a sport coat or suit to your denim and knits.”
— Jim Parker

No one knows rain better than the British. Our first rainy day pick is from our own Armoury shoe collection, the new Jubilee with Dainite sole. The hard-wearing pebble-grain upper matched with the famous UK made rubber Dainite sole makes this pair perfect for a wet day. Whether you’re dressed in a sport coat and slacks or your weekend chinos, these shoes will keep you smart and dry.

Our next pick is from our American shoemaker, Alden. One of our favorite things about Alden is that they seldom change. However, every once in a while they release something that is as much a part of their brand identity as the models they've carried for over 100 years. We're thrilled to be carrying the new Dutton Blucher, the first model ever to feature their commando sole on a stock make up. Made out of pebble grain calf, they're perfect for some hard weather wearing. These shoes are incredibly versatile, so dress them up or down depending on your personal style or mood of the day.

We couldn’t end this list without a boot from Alden, and what better choice than our Parker boot designed by our own Jim Parker. The Armoury exclusive “Parker boot” is built on Alden’s chiseled Plaza last. To further streamline the silhouette and functionality, we omitted speed hooks and the pull tab on the back. The commando sole makes this the perfect inclement weather dress boot. This shoe will actually look better with age and wear, so be sure to take yours through rain and sleet.
