Another chapter in The Armoury shoes collection: a new Chelsea boot, single monk and a classic loafer.

In 2017 we introduced our first collection of Armoury shoes, a set of versatile styles that are the foundation of our take on classic menswear. We've since gone on to introduce more casual styles, including our split-toe, the Jubilee and the Duane loafer.

This existing range of shoes see heavy rotation in our wardrobes. However, there are times when we'd like something a little different. This season we're introducing three new styles based on our Jiro and original Hajime lasts.

Black Calf
We've always been fans of a classic single monk, a perfect shoe to compliment sport coat and trouser separates. As a semi-casual shoe, we incorporated the split-toe design of our Jubilee derby and finished it with a warm toned buckle. The name is a tribute to our well dressed friend, Simon Crompton.

Made on our classic Hajime last, we adjusted the stitching from the Jubilee to be further down on the toe. This makes for an elongated formal look.

Espresso Calf
We named the Ryoma after the man credited to have brought the western shoes, specifically boots, to Japan. Using our Jiro loafer last allows the boot better accommodates those with fallen arches and improves the shape of the boot around the ankle. It also helps mitigate creasing for a sleek profile.

We like to wear this boot with our sport chinos and Nigel Cabourn denim. It's a great shoe for more casual settings.

Black Calf
The Broadway sits between a slipper and loafer design. This versatile shoe can serve a variety of purposes. When highly polished it can be worn as a tuxedo slipper, however we're as happy to see it worn more causally with grey trousers and a sport coat.

We named the Broadway Loafer after New York's most iconic street, a road that can take you from close by our shop in Tribeca shop to the furthest corners of the city.
