This season you'll find a wide array of textures, from washed linens to tropical wool in colors like lilac, sakura and wheat.

Part of our Dayware collection, the Maru Tee is made from a special Raffy Tenjiku knit using custom-spun yarns exclusively for The Armoury.

The raw cotton is a blend of fresh cotton and reclaimed fibers known as “fallen cotton,” which are byproducts of the spinning process. These fallen fibers, rich in shorter strands, naturally create an uneven texture in the yarn, adding a distinctive vintage look and feel to the fabric. The knitting is done using a specially developed sinker knitting machine in collaboration with a factory in Wakayama, Japan renowned for producing fabrics with exceptional texture and character.

Part of our Dayware range, the Holiday Shirt is a casual piece that can be worn with or without a jacket. Inspired by shirts worn at beach resorts in the 1950’s, the key feature is the one-piece collar. While the Holiday Shirt can be worn with a tie, we prefer it worn open, creating a generous collar roll. It looks just as good under a Sport Coat as it does on its own with the sleeves rolled up. We’ve worked with them extensively to hone the fit, design, and details to our exact standards. It features a soft interlining, high armholes, and a fit that’s slim but not skinny. As with all Ascot Chang products the finishing work is extremely fine and exact. Made up in a breathable cotton chambray, that will only get softer the more you wear it.

Wear with a tie or open collared for a casual look. Finishing details include five hand sewn operations and thick scalloped mother-of-pearl buttons. This season we’ve made our spread collar shirt in a dark wash denim with contrasting stitching.
