Our Safari jacket has been an Armoury essential for over a decade and it was with this experience we developed the Safari II. This next evolution is a cleaner design with additional functionality.

The waist pockets have been enlarged and now feature gussets and bellows. The chest pockets have been slimmed and rounded at the corners. We’ve also added two internal chest pockets bringing the total count to six.

We’ve removed the fly button placket from the three button front and added two action back pleats in place of the single inverted box pleat for even more freedom of movement. The collar has been totally redesigned, with a more dramatic presence that frames the wearers face.

This Safari is made up in a Kimono Chirimen Silk. Known for its dry hand and crisp texture, Chirimen is a woven silk crepe made up of high-twist, raw silk yarns traditionally reserved for a traditional Japanese Kimono. The resulting weave is uneven and crimped in texture. In order to let the texture shine, we’ve removed the buttons from the pockets.
